Hive Living Standard Upholstered Furniture Warranty
Thank you for purchasing our upholstered furniture. This warranty is offered to the original purchaser ("Customer") and covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. The terms of this warranty are as follows:
1. Warranty Coverage
This warranty is divided into three components:
A. Foam Warranty (1 Year)
We warrant the foam in your upholstered furniture against defects in material or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. This coverage includes issues such as foam breakdown or loss of support under normal use. The warranty does not cover damage due to improper care, excessive weight, or use in a commercial setting.
B. Fabric Warranty (2 Years)
We warrant the fabric covering your upholstered furniture against defects in material or workmanship for two (2) years from the date of purchase. This coverage includes issues such as fading, pilling, or material defects. It does not cover damage from stains, spills, burns, or wear caused by misuse or neglect.
C. Frame Warranty (5 Years)
We warrant the frame of your upholstered furniture against defects in material or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. This includes any structural failure or damage due to manufacturing defects. This warranty excludes damage caused by accidents, misuse, or improper assembly or maintenance.
2. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, fading, or fabric wear.
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance.
- Commercial use or use in non-residential settings
- Stains, spills, burns, or other damages caused by external factors.
- Natural variations in color, texture, or grain of materials, such as wood or leather.
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications made to the product.
3. Claims Process
To make a warranty claim, please contact the original point of puchase, providing the following:
- Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).
- Description of the issue and any supporting photographs (if applicable).
- Proof of normal residential use.
Upon receipt of your claim, we will assess the issue and determine the appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or refund, at our discretion. If the issue is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the defective part at no charge to the customer, excluding shipping costs.
4. Exclusions
This warranty is void if the product is used for commercial purposes, altered, misused, or improperly maintained. Damage caused by water, fire, pets, or improper cleaning methods is not covered.
5. Limitation of Liability
Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund for the cost of the defective item. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the furniture.
6. Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser.
