To promote even wear and extend the life of your cushions, regularly rotate both seat and back removable cushions. Decorative cushions should also be fluffed and aired frequently – gently shaking the filling will help it settle and distribute evenly. Vacuum the upholstery weekly using the appropriate attachment or lightly brush it to maintain its appearance and comfort. We recommend annual cleaning by a professional upholstery service. Be cautious when using household chemicals or commercial products near upholstered surfaces. To minimise fading and preserve the upholstery’s condition, avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight or near heat sources such as radiators or fireplaces.
To remove dust, gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. If necessary, use a cleaner specifically formulated for wood. Take care during cleaning to avoid scratching the surface. Direct sunlight can cause discoloration or fading of wood and lacquer finishes. Avoid using solvents, solvent-based products, or aerosols, as these can damage the material. To protect both wood and lacquer, keep furniture away from heaters and air conditioning units to prevent over-drying or excess moisture. Sudden changes in humidity should also be avoided, as extremely dry conditions can cause wood to crack and lacquer to lift. Never place hot or damp objects directly on wood surfaces, and avoid prolonged contact with rubber or plastic items, which can harm the finish.
Clean marble or stone surfaces using a soft, dry cloth. If spills from liquids or greasy substances occur, blot them immediately with an absorbent cloth. Follow by gently wiping the area with a damp cloth and lukewarm water, taking care not to scratch the surface. For tougher stains, use a mild, neutral soap or a detergent that is free from alcohol.
Always treat spills promptly to prevent permanent marks, as marble and stone are highly porous and prone to staining. Avoid using products that contain acetone, ammonia, chlorine, solvents, abrasive agents, or furniture polish, as these can cause irreversible damage such as discoloration, surface marks, or a dull appearance.
To clean glass surfaces, remove dust using a damp cloth with a glass cleaner or alcohol diluted in water. Afterwards, dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Use caution during cleaning to prevent scratching the surface. Avoid using solvents, solvent-based products, or aerosols, as these may damage the glass.
Clean metal surfaces with a soft, damp cloth - preferably fine cotton or an extra-soft material. Avoid using chemical products or abrasive cleaners, as these can permanently damage the finish. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean, soft cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive kitchen cleaners under any circumstances.
Dust should be removed using a clean, soft cloth. Avoid using coloured towels or sponges, as dyes may transfer and alter the fabric’s colour. Never use hot water, as it can set stains permanently. Solvents or solvent-based products should also be avoided. Always refer to the care label on the fabric for specific maintenance instructions. If you have any questions, our sales representatives are happy to assist you. We recommend professional cleaning for all fabrics. To help preserve the fabric’s appearance and colour, avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
Regularly clean leather surfaces using a dry cloth and vacuum with the appropriate attachment to remove dust and prevent dirt build-up. Protect leather furniture from direct sunlight and heat sources, as these can cause the leather to dry out and crack over time. Never use products designed for wood furniture, as they can stain and permanently damage leather. Spills should be blotted immediately with a clean, dry, white cloth to prevent absorption and staining - do not allow liquids to sit on the surface. Avoid using solvents or any products that contain solvents.
